The Story Behind What If I Say I Know You Know Lyrics by Johnny Orlando and Mackenzie Ziegler

Music listening programs and music recognition apps can help to identify a song by hearing one that is playing. Sometimes, you might want to find the name of a song that is not playing currently. If you know the lyrics exactly, you can type them into a search engine like Google to name the song.

In 2007, the song was included as part of the Nihon no Uta Hyakusen, a list of the 100 most well-known folk songs in Japan. It is one of nine songs from foreign countries included on the list. It was selected by the Agency of Cultural Affairs and the National Congress of Parents and Teachers Associations of Japan.

This verse is usually followed by more which follow the same pattern but say: "If you're happy and you know it, stomp/stamp your feet!", "If you're happy and you know it, shout/say 'hooray'!" or "shout/say 'amen'!", "If you're happy and you know it, do all three!", "If you're happy and you know it, do all four!". Other versions of the song tend to say, "then your face will surely show it" in place of "and you really want to show it"; the form "then you really ought to show it" has also been used. Many variations on the substance of the first three verses exist, including:[11]

If you're happy and you know it, dust your stuff! If you're happy and you know it, dust your stuff! If it's dusty and you know it, then ceramics gonna show it;If you're happy and you know it, dust your stuff!

As all dedicated film and TV buffs know, IMDB is a priceless resource when it comes to tracking down those key details about a movie or episode. The database can tell you all the locations where a production was filmed, who guest starred in any given episode, and of course, which songs were featured.

You can ask for it. If you know who the copyright owner is, you may contact the owner directly. If you are not certain about the ownership or have other related questions, you may wish to request that the Copyright Office conduct a search of its records or you may search yourself. See the next question for more details.

Photocopying shops, photography stores and other photo developing stores are often reluctant to make reproductions of old photographs for fear of violating the copyright law and being sued. These fears are not unreasonable, because copy shops have been sued for reproducing copyrighted works and have been required to pay substantial damages for infringing copyrighted works. The policy established by a shop is a business decision and risk assessment that the business is entitled to make, because the business may face liability if they reproduce a work even if they did not know the work was copyrighted.

If it's not up here, probably not. But you're still welcome to run it by me. First, try going to www.google.com, type in the phrase you remember, and surround that phrase with quotation marks. You might come up with it. If not, try narrowing the phrase down a bit in case someone else remembers it differently.Other places to try:1)Sunday School Teacher's Network is a mailing list of teachers. You can search the archive, or join and ask the list if they know it.2)Song Search at Christian Book Distributors

I know, you know, that I'm not telling the truth.I know, you know, they just don't have any proof.Embrace the deception, learn how to bend,Your worst inhibitions tend to psych you out in the end!

"So one day his friends, who were about to leave for Africa on a honeymoon, said, "Well, why don't you come along with us?" And, uh, that sounds really peculiar but they were getting married for something like the third time themselves. So he said "Well, I'll go along with you" and he did. And while he was up in the plane to Africa to find out what life was all about for him, he looked out of the plane window and he said, um, you know, "Look at those clouds down there; it's very strange to look at the clouds from up above them. I remember as a boy having dreamed up at clouds a lot and having seen the cloud from both sides now, I suppose I shouldn't really be amazed by anything." And I like the idea of clouds from both sides and... (strums) some other things from both sides (tunes). I call my song "From Both Sides, Now."

Did you ever used to watch that show called Star Trek? (cheers from crowd) Oh... I just had a flash of this show, that I saw while I was singing this tune. It was the only show where Dr. Spock ever got any emotion, right? You remember that one? It was really great because... well, for those of you who never saw it, anyway, the premise is this: they're supposed to go and rescue an agricultural colony that's on some planet. They've been there for a while, they took some horses and they took some grain, they took a lot of that stuff, and they were going to experiment up there, maybe as an alternative planet, you know? When we mess this planet up too bad we'll have to go some place, right?

So they were up there working kind of scientifically and all of a sudden, a message comes to Dr. Spock and the Star Trekkers that this planet is being bombarded by some kind of rays which are, uh, not very good for any kind of animal, vegetable... they're okay for mineral that's it--mineral life can live. So, it's getting bombarded so they all go down to check it out. First thing they notice is that there are no insects around, then they notice there are no animals around. And just when they're about ready to say that there are no people around, they discover this colony of people in the euphoric state, and not only that, when the doctor checks them out, every uh... history of any kind of disease that they've had, including things like appendectomies, has all disappeared, right? And they're in perfect heath. Well, what happens is, the reason Dr. Spock suddenly becomes a compassionate-feeling creature is 'cause one day with the youngest and the prettiest member of the scientific team, of course, he's walking through a field and he comes upon a whole kind of row of sunflower-looking creatures. And as he's walking through these sunflower-looking creatures, one of them explodes and shoots things all over him and then you see Dr. Spock lying down on the ground and looking up at the clouds--that's what made me think of this. He said to her, "Wow! I never looked at clouds like that before." (cheers from the crowd) He said, "There's a dinosaur up there, there's..." Then he turned to this girl and he said, "I love you." Meantime, his little radio is going "bleep bleep bleep" and he's supposed to get back to the ship and you know what he does? He shuts it off.

Unlike our previous releases, we've really taken our time with the music here and did not rush a single thing. A large chunk of the songs on this album were written nearly two years ago and have evolved and improved over time as we played them. The recording process was also not hurried. We wouldn't jump into putting music to tape until we were satisfied with each chord, each transition, and each fill as a group. This inevitably resulted in a long and arduous process, but it feels good to be content with every piece of music on this release. We very sincerely hope you enjoy To Know Better as much as we do. As we get older and our lives change, for better or for worse, It is becoming increasingly more difficult to find the time to get together to write, rehearse, play shows, and what have you. This is nothing esoteric or new, but in knowing this, we've put our everything into this album - because we simply can't pump out music and jam all the time like we used to. In more ways than one, the theme of the album really evolves around the idea, or truth rather, that everyone grows up, best friends leave, and that concrete foundations in your life can and will disintegrate over time. But as these things happen, you learn and adapt so in the future, you'll know better.Thank you for taking an interest in our music and certainly
